Going to art galleries is a great way to
get inspiration and also simply to learn about art and techniques. The
renaissance masters spent the initial years of training themselves under a
master, copying carefully his work and that of the other great artists until
they reached a requisite standard of skilfulness. Fortunately, using the
internet, we can visit galleries from around the world and can use what we see
to develop our own taste and discover new horizons easily and conveniently. It
is, of course, far better to see the artists work “really” and not “virtually”
but the following sites will give you a valuable insight into great artwork and
you can always visit the galleries yourself at a later date. |
